how hard to fight for your marriage. vers should you even fight for your marriage

lots of people (men,and women) come here after finding inapropiate behavior about their spouce. sometimes is money related or porn or even cheating. but the behavior really is not important for this question. the advice seems to be to try to figure out why they did the poor behavior in the first place and to meet their needs better. alot of time the spouce that did the poor behavior never comunicated that they were unhappy or dissatisfied in the frist place. just seems so backwards shouldn't the spouce thats doing the poor behavior step up and start changing on their own? I mean if you have to treat them like a child and force them to act like a spouce that loves you then who the hell wants that!!!!!!! starting to think that its not worth it . Kinda like asking for an apology if you have to ask then I'd rather not have one and I'd rather not be friends or married to someone that you have to conistantly keep in check. and when this light balb goes off can you ever come back from this thought process. or maybe you shouldn't just move on!
