We have been together since high school, says she felt love back then, and even until a few months ago but that she recently fell out of love. She says she had been trying to make things work however while this was going on she started bonding (around February 2014) closer to this guy she met online several years ago (he was 17) and kept a "gaming" relationship with. As of late the problem was that she would always be chatting with him for hours on FB and staying up really late playing Destiny with him (When that game came out I was very excited about it, when she tried it she liked it and I bought her a TV and a 2nd XBox so we could play together, that was a huge mistake). She swears up and down (even showed me their chats) that nothing was inappropriate and just talked about the game and anime (one piece).
I told her I had a problem with it because she shouldn't be spending that much time with someone else even if it wasn't inappropriate, but after several attempts and complaints about her priorities she finally exploded and that was that, she moved out and a few days later they went into a relationship.
The relationship is long distance of course because he lives in CA and she lives in MO, but they have already said they love each other and that's that. I know I am not perfect and have several flaws, but I always tried my best, I was extremely attracted to her and was very supportive of her, to me she was my perfect girl (hot, great mom, gamer, smart) and my closest friend.
The guy is 22, has never had a job, dropped out of high school, never had a girlfriend before. Even now she is still saying that she didn't leave me for him and that they r just friends who know what they feel for each other. She believes anything he says, to her he is the most wonderful person in the world apparently. Her sister and I have tried to talk to her, specially since he has never had a job and he is 22, never been in a relationship before, so its not so much that he is 22 but his inexperience.
We have 2 girls, and have built a home, I have a stable job/career that took me years to obtain and she is dropping everything for this guy...I feel a lot of hate and resentment towards him because I too knew him for years. I recently found out where he lives and I am fighting the urge to kick his ass...
She left the kids with me, she cant go with him because we live in Missouri and he lives in Stockton California. Neither of them have money she was working as support while I provided the main source of income. And yeah obviously wasn't, no matter how much she says she did not leave me for him, she did jump ship fairly quick.
