I've seen this all through my (albeit young) life girls always end up date the looser or deadbeat rather than the great guy, who most of the time is the shoulder she cries on when said deadbeat guy dumps her / cheats, now i'm not bringing the whole "You should be flirting more" thing into this as i know from past experience that one of the reasons why i didn't get any attention from girls was although i was a great friend i actually didn't show any intention (ie i didn't flirt)
One example i saw there was this bully at my school who tormented a few people in small ways (including myself), he wasn't that smart either, just your general 'thug' type and he somehow managed to get 60% of the girls in the school to fall for him and i was wondering why the hell would the girls go for a guy like that (i know some girls like rebels but there is a difference between being a rebel and being a deadbeat)
Also before any feminists come on here shouting "We are free to make our own choices" i totally agree with you on that, but why then when you get dumped or cheated on you then go running to that guy who would be a MUCH better match for you that the guy who just dumped you/cheated etc.
So my question to the girl population is why do you always date losers and never the 'keepers' (ie the local geek in your friendship circle)
Put the internet to work for you.
