I have known this guy for a while, we worked together, he moved away, we lost contact, he's now moved back to the area. We've been very flirty lately and things have been said that indicates more than just friends. However whenever I try and arrange to meet up with him he manages to avoid it. I've asked him outright if he actually wants to see me and he gives me a very positive very definite answer. I've asked on 2 occasions now in slightly different ways. I've asked what he suggests but he just says dunno and he talks his way out of anything I suggest. I'm not sure how to go about it. I'd love to just meet up and chat with him for a little while as we haven't seen each other in a while, but its a bit difficult when he isn't working with me to accomplish that. I know he's very unconfident about himself and quite shy. But he's old enough to get over that and I just want him to try. I cant keep going on with this or I'll end up confronting him and freaking him out as I usually sound pretty harsh when I text.
Any suggestions please? I'm not willing to give up on him just yet. It's clear that he wants to, but maybe doesn't know how.
