I am in my first relationship and it has got to the stage where we should be so much further by now but we are not. This is due to the fact that I am extremely shy, insecure and suffer from anxiety problems. You will rarely find a person who is more self-conscious than me. I haven't let my boyfriend do anything at all yet and he has been so patient up until now but do understand that it must be so difficult for him. I have tried so hard to get over this, but I am really struggling. Up until now, we have been so close and have had no problems, but now he is losing his patience and getting irritable. Yesterday when he was about to leave he said sometimes it feels like I don't have a girlfriend, it's just like we are cuddle buddies. I was so hurt and couldn't look at him. We haven't spoken since, except he said good morning as usual. I know it's my fault he feels this way but it's just such a horrible thing to say. I love and care about him so much, and I thought our relationship was more meaningful, even although the physical side is almost non-existent. I am just really upset. It feels like this is the beginning of the end. :(
