Iv been thinking about this for quite a while, and I think its time to find an answer so here goes.
Basically, If having a boyfriend/girlfriend is haram in islam, then why do girls bother putting make up on? and try to look beautiful if its not allowed? I understand that girls can do so but surely that's asking for male attention correct? if so then why do they do it?
I mean if you are in college or whatever and obviously at an age like that and the country we live in, its pretty hard that a muslim guy will see you and want to marry you right because we have studies to finish and so on, so as muslim guys what should we do when we see a very nice girl?
so can any muslim girl explain this to me?
The reason I am asking is because there is a muslim girl who I think is very pretty and I would like to be friends with. (I have no haram intentions whatsoever) but anyway I was wondering weather having her wear makeup would mean I would be able to talk to her and just be friends? or is she too religious even though she puts on makeup?
Im so confused and I would appreciate if any muslims here could help.
Just to clarify something I have no haram intentions whatsoever I understand that even talking to a girl in something not related to work, or studies is not that acceptable in islam, but as a muslim it is extremely hard to not look at girls, not talk to girls, etc... so as a result I believe having a female in my life as a friend would help me in terms of not doing something haram such as having a real girlfriend, would you say this is acceptable?
