Me and my girlfriend live about an hour from each other, she lives in a small village and its around £18 to visit for a day and £25 for a weekend. We've been together for over a month and she's made no effort to come visit me while her parents will happily bring her over.
Pre-dating: our first date never happened as she said she didn't think id turn up as nothing was confirmed, and slept in. I waited longer than i should have.
We rearranged, the morning we were going on a date she said she wouldn't be able to make it as her mom got called in to work.
3rd time lucky.
Skip forward a few weeks, we planned for me to visit on a weekend her grandparents were visiting her as she wanted me to meet them. That never happened as her mother told her their house would be too cramped if i stayed the weekend. She said i could come up just on the Saturday instead. That never happened either as her mom decided she needed to spend time with her grandparents. - i completely understand all these reasons.
Bur, her mom offered to bring her to my town on the Tuesday, meaning id have to skip class. I agreed. Tuesday morning she said she had bad period pains and we agreed it would be better if she didn't come.
A week later, she visits my town with her dad to go to the cinema, but did not ask if i wanted to see her.
Then she made a big deal out of wanting to see a movie with me, as her dad was unreliable and might not want to go (something like that anyway). Today she's told me that her dad has now offered to take her. Which would mean she has to visit my town to go. I said i wasn't bothered if she didn't want to go with me, but it would be nice if i could see her. She said i wouldn't be able to as they'll only go to see the movie...
I don't know if its just me being insecure, but it seems as if she likes to be able to say she has a boyfriend without putting in any effort with it? Im becoming frustrated as its expensive for me to visit her. Yet she can visit me freely, but wont ..
