I seriously like this girl at University?

Hello!

Firstly, thanks for reading!

I would appreciate some advice about a girl I really like at University, it's getting to the point of me obsessing over her and it's driving me crazy. This girl just seems perfect for me and I'm not sure what to do as I've never been in a relationship before (I'm 18) She is really good looking and has the most lovely personality ever, we share quite a lot in common and she likes football which is always a bonus! The girl lives in halls of residence in the block next to mine. I have only ever spoken to her 3 times, once on a night out and the other two occasions in lectures. On the night out, she bought me two drinks and sat with me pretty much all night and chose to sit next to me on the bus back and hugged me when saying goodbye. She does pretty much all of her socialising with her block friends and flatmates as they've known each other since the first day of University, whereas we only met properly about a week ago. I get on with her flatmates too, although I always feel aw kward as although all of them are really friendly towards me, there's one guy I get the feeling he doesnt like me. This kind of puts me off as if he's there giving me dirty looks then I feel embarrassed to say hello (This guy is gay, so it's not a case of jealousy or whatever). But yeah, anyway, I get on well with the others. I don't really know how to get myself more included in that group? I sit with them in lectures and stuff, but when it comes to parties I fear being left out. Considering I have only met them a week ago, is it likely they'll ask me to join them more with time?

I speak to her on Facebook sometimes and unless we share the same lecture, it's the only time I ever really get to see her. Is it weird to ask someone if they've got any plans, for example, 'Are you going out Saturday night' on Facebook? Or would it be better to ask in person?

Although I really like her and would love to be with her one day, I would be more than happy to be just friends without seeming stalkerish or whatever. I don't want things to be awkward between us as we live so close and are on the same course.

Thanks.
