Hair on arms?

This is one of my dumbest threads, hence why it's on anon, but it's something that I've started thinking about recently since meeting my current boyfriend. I've 'suffered' from hairy arms since puberty (I'm female, btw). Not ugly hair, just blonde fuzz. I've always loved my arms, but since meeting my current boyfriend, I've wondered what other guys think about it. He shaves most of his body- he's blonde, so doesnt have much obvious hair anyway, but he keeps a smooth chest and pubes. I don't judge people on their body decisions, so I'm not bothered either way, whether a guy is covered in hair or not. But he made a comment on my arms at one point, asking if I'd ever consider waxing or shaving them. I pretty much laughed and said I have not, and if it bothers him at all then he should pack his bags now. But I've started wondering what guys in general think about it? And girls, if you shave your arms or what?
