| Hi, so I'm a 16 year old girl, and basically I'll tell you what my situation is. Basically I have virtually no male friends, no brothers, no cousins of my own age, and have only had two boyfriends, both of whom made the first move, meaning that they made conversation with me until we knew eachother better. I really like this boy at my college, and I've decided I'm going to tell him. I know how I'm going to tell him, so that isn't a problem. The only problem is, if he likes me back or wants to give me a chance, and we end up on a date or even if we just start out as friends and get to know each other first, I have no idea what to talk about! I've heard boys talking to their friends, but most of the time it's about football or games like Call Of Duty, and I wouldn't even know where to start with either of those subjects! Also I find them very boring, so it would be hard to look like I was actually interested if I started a convo about it. Also, how do I start a conversation about something? With the exception of about three guys, all the male friends I have got I normally only really talk to as part of a group of boys and girls. When I'm with my female friends I'm quite a random person and I can make conversation about pretty much anything, although a large amount of the time it's either fashion, gossip about people we know or fit guys, which probably wouldn't be the best topics of conversation with a boy I was romantically interested in. So could some of you, male or female, give me some advice on this please? :) | |||

Making conversation with boys
