My husbands name is on his parents house, and neither of his parents is working and they don't really have the income to sustain the mortgage payments. Ever since he left his parents house and no longer pays all of their bills for them, they have been late many times with the mortgage. This has severely affected his credit score and allowed him not to be able to get anything under his name. We are having difficulty getting our own house, or even a car for him. I have shared my hopes and dreams with him that I want to move out of our tiny one bedroom apartment and have children and a bigger place to live (hopefully a house). We have been fighting about it for several years now and I feel like he feels torn between me and his mother and making both of us happy. His mother has never got along with me, she is very controlling and I will not allow her to control me the way she likes, so she dislikes me, and the fact I have taken her son (even though they still have a relationship and he still goes over there every weekend.)
We finally had the talk with his mom on Sunday about selling the house, but she is not feeling very good about it, and wants to just move far away since she wont be in that house anymore, and it seems to be causing a strain on their relationship. He's become mean and resentful towards me I believe and last night we got into the worst argument we have ever had. Any advice on what I should do??
