I'm currently studying three A2 subjects. For one we have to do coursework that is really stressing me out. I spent 7 hours yesterday doing it only to wake up this morning realising I had done it all wrong. I've had so many sleepless nights and even pathetically cried to myself regarding this. I'm embarassed because for other students it's easy but for me I've been struggling terribly. I'm great at the subject and got an A at AS so I'm sad to drop it but I can't cope with the coursework. Next year I'm going to complete the AS I did last year as well as do a fast track subject. So next year I'll leave college with 4 full a-levels and one AS (the subject I plan to drop). I need an excuse on why I want to drop that A2 subject after having done one exam and already over half way through the course. I don't want to tell my teacher the real reason because it's pathetic but I've been getting migraines from the stress of the coursework. If I told my teacher how much the coursework was stressing me out he'd probably be really confused as to everyone else it is straight forward and easy. I'm not falling behind in classes but I have had quite a lot of time off recently. I'm not sure how to put forward my reasoning for wanting to drop it. I'll have to fight my case (lol) as me dropping out will go on their retention record. Thanks. | |||
