Ive been with my boyfriend 2 years yet hes only said he loves me once

As the title says my boyfriend of 2 years has told me he loves me the grand total of 1 time. He was also very drunk at the time he said it so to me it means nothing. I love him so much and I use to tell him I never said it excessively maybe once every 2 months i'd throw it in there or at xmas or on his birthday id just say it quickly, but when he either pretends he hasnt heard me or creates a totally different conversation or if its in text says 'aw your cute' it really upset me and ive given up saying it, He has been cheated on in the past and had 2 long term girlfriends (he's 24) that ****ed him over and were overly lovey dovey and I understand this may have alot of reason as to why he wont say it, however my ex cheated on me and yes for the first few monts it was bloody hard to trust my now boyfriend but after about 6 months I did feel like I loved him and that feeling has only increased. Ive spoken to my boyfriend about it ive asked him why he wotn say it and he says because if he said it lots it wont be special but then never says it i cant keep repeating myself or ill be nagging but after 2 years for him to basically never have told me he loved me I feel like ****
