Should I stop being so nice to him?

I study in a boarding school and i am allowed to go out in weekends and i usually do. My ex is a university student in the UK and we broke up in December before he went back to his country for chirstmas holiday. We broke up because he said that he is not over his ex. however, as soon as he went back to his country, he asked out his ex again and continue their relationship. Even though we are not bf/gf anymore but we still spend like every weekend togeter.. He has make it clear that he loves his girlfriend and they have even planned to get married. I have accepted this fact but I am still extremely nice to him that in a way that I do not understand what I am doing. I often buy him food and some snack when I visit him in the weekends, I bought him Christmas and valentine gift. But he never give me anything at all, he doesn't even say thank you when I get him stuffs... I feel so silly..I think I deserve a much better guy than him and I should leave him soon. but often I can't stop being so nice to him..But in the other hand, he is a very good friend. What should I do? What would you do if you were me?
