going home with him after a night out

A guy from my course says he really likes me and wants me to back with him after nights outs so that ill "trust him". I do like him but my questions are 1.If i go home with a him will he expect sex? 2. If i do have sex with him will it rule out things ever developing further or will he just think i am easy?
