How do you know when a guy likes you?

I've met this guy I work with recently and we get on really well, but can anyone tell me if he likes me more than a friend from the following signals he's given to me: 1. We both love football and he suggested whilst laughing and looking into my eyes 'wouldn't it be funny if I had your number or Facebook so I could message you constantly during footie matches to laugh at how crap your team are'? 2. When I met him he'd been a smoker for 6 years (but not a heavy smoker, just a few a day). When I told him I hate fags, he'd suddenly given them up and has now quit smoking and is using the electronic fags to help him quit. 3. When I changed my hairstyle, no one else at work noticed, but he gave me a hug (he also hugged everyone else in the room to say hello) and as he hugged me he said 'you changed your hair, you look really nice'. 4. We were walking together and there was a sunset and he said whilst laughing 'oh look a beautiful sunset, this is like the perfect date.' (we were not on a date). I'm just wandering what your opinions were; if he likes me as a friend, or more than a friend or is just trying to get me in bed!!!
