We have four kids. A 20 year old in college, two high schoolers (15 and 16) and a middle schooler. The 20 year old moved out this summer when he broke rules about coming home. He won't speak to us now. That I can handle. This summer the 16 year old boy decided to stay out for a night to drink, have sex and smoke pot. He is the middle boy.
I am exhausted and want to run away. I know that sounds awful and wouldn't solve a think but...I just found one of those filled ecig things in his room and apparently they can smoke pot out of them. We come from a long line of addicted people- alcohol, drugs or whatever. We do not drink because of this. He has been so good since the night out (minor bumps only), has good grades, a great athlete and now this.
I am thinking about homeschooling to get him away from the "popular" friends he thinks he has. What have other people done in similar situations? Any help is appreciated. This is putting a lot of stress on my marriage and I just don't have the energy to parent the others right now.
