Hi, I wanted some opinions on something that bothers me about MIL. Want to know if I should just let it be or say something?
Myself and H have a 24 year old son so MIL's oldest grandchild. Over the last couple of years I have visited her at her seniors lodge apartment, I noticed that she has pics in her living room of the 5 other grandchildren she has but not of our son. About a year ago we were visiting her with son and we were commenting on a photo of one of the other grandchildren and she commented to son that her pic of him is in her bedroom...so I am guessing she has a table or dresser in there that she must put more pics on. What bugs me is why would you not put it out in your living area along with your other grandchildren's pics??? I gave her a really nice grad pic about 4 years ago or so...
We were visiting her a couple of weeks ago and I could not help but notice that still no pic of him out in her living area. It just bugs me...and last time I was there I wish I had said something like hmmmm...I noticed you don't have a pic of ***** do you need an updated one or something like that. I am debating saying something to H about it but I have to tread lightly because in his eyes and his siblings their mom is a perfect angel sent from the heavens:rolleyes:
I noticed too that he last time was kind of looking around so he must notice it as well but he would never say anything to her because we can't dare question dear mommy....if it was my mom I would not have any hesitation to say hey mom where is *****'s picture that I gave you?
Should I just let this go and put it out of my mind, should I say something to her directly next time I am there or simply mention it to H.
