Pretty upset about the fact that my LDR boyfriend has been fairly distant and won't make the effort to talk to me much these days. We've been together for a year.
He is 28, I'm 23. We were both really in love and the relationship started off as such a fairytale. It's just this past month where he claims that he's too busy to talk these days even though contact is kind of essential to maintain a long-distance relationship.
Anyway, the lack of contact became unbearable a couple of weeks ago and I got so upset that I broke up with him. He was pretty silent on the phone and seemed a bit upset (not overly but I couldn't judge because he wasn't saying much, just 'right... *silence*) but he has made no effort since to contact me. I really miss him and I thought we really loved each other but apparently it wasn't enough for him to put some time aside for me.
He messed me around once and promised that he'd never let me down again. Neither of us have pulled the 'in a relationship' status down from facebook. I don't want it to be the end. I just wish he'd show me that he wants to make this work because I have tried to give him the sun the moon and the stars in this relationship. Up until recently I genuinely thought I was the woman for him (that's what he once told me)
If he really was in love with me do you think he would he try and call to get me back?
