Why can't gays stop chatting me up? It's such a pain to have to explain that I'm not

I'm sick and tired of being chatted up by gays, especially when I'm not gay but straight, and I'm explicitly telling them I'm not interested.

Of course I get hit on by women too, which is A LOT more comfortable, but I really hate gays who come up to me and start flirting. I'm afraid to reject them sometimes in fear of being accused of homophobia.

I don't wear any clothing that might make them think I'm gay... I genuinely don't know why they are attracted to me.
