I'm starting a long distance relationship in September and on this site I have seen that to make a LDR work you need to have good communication, which admittedly we both are not great at as we tend to not express even small concerns to each other although ultimately we are very happy. But also people say an end sight for when you can be permanently together is pretty essential and we won't have that either she is going to medical school for 5 years and then training for another two whilst I'll be at uni in another city? Are we doomed to fail? :(
