I'm a beginner in this, I'm from abroad so not used to all the witticisms/unwritten rules of texting a girl in the UK. How do you stay in touch with a girl by text? How often, what do you say to keep her interested and not just get blanked..
This is someone I briefly met on an internship.. we hit it off though she had a bf at the time. By chance, met her about a year later at the same company, but just as I was about to move to another one. I didn't even see her at first, she actually spoke to me in the food court. I was really surprised. She didn't have to, but she just made eye contact, smiled and started talking saying she recognised me. My friends were goggling at her from afar wondering how it happened. We talked for a good 10 minutes. Got her number and want to stay in touch.
We live in different cities. Tbh I do think she is insanely hot (my mind went blank when speaking to her face to face), but I'm sure she has a bf and now there is distance. We did get a rapport going in our brief conversation and through one or two texts. My bad luck is such that I met her as I was moving so couldn't develop the face to face contact.
But how do I keep in touch with her. As in I might message now and again.. I don't want to find 6 months down the line, she has changed her number lol.
Is it worth it? I'm just trying to stay friends btw. Not looking for a gf right now let alone a long distance thing. Last point of contact was New Years text.
