Boyfriend said he loves me, I don't know what to do...

My boyfriend of the past two months just told me he loves me yesterday and I was completely taken aback. I like him. He's a really cute and well-spoken guy, very kind and a great listener. I love spending time with him. We get along really well and have a lot of similar interests, academically and otherwise. But I'm just not in love with him. Maybe I will be given more time, but I'm just not there right now. I didn't say anything when he said it to me and just like shrugged and kissed him and pretty much ran away soon after to avoid the issue. He's called me twice today and hinted heavily that he'd like to know how I feel. I know I'll hurt his ego if I don't say it back. But I don't want to say something I don't like feel. What do I do?
