Guys who cannot keep it in their pants: a rant

Right, this is something that has always pissed me, and apparently plenty of other guys and girls alike, off, but has particularly grated on me today. We went out clubbing last night, and one of our house mates ended up getting off with some really pissed randomer. Now, usually, none of us would have a problem with this. However, about a week ago we held a house party round ours where this same house mate specifically invited one of the girls he knew that he made pretty clear he was interested in. Usually, this wouldn't be a problem either. The problem I, and the rest of the house have, is that this girl he's been seeing is kind, smart, pretty, and generally is looking for a relationship with someone who wants the exact opposite, while acting like a relationship would be the best thing since sliced bread. She is completely unaware that he cannot keep it in his pants, despite it being so horrendously obvious that he is "one of those guys". I am just completely in shock that somebody would even consider wasting a good opportunity like that, and even more surprised she doesn't see through what is effectively a glass pane with "don't look through here" written on it. So my questions, TSR... To the girls whom I have described above: what made you fall for them in the first place? To the guys whom have some done similar to the above: why is anything that moves free game?
