Average of two times a week is deceiving...

Several sources have been cited around here as saying the average couple is having sex twice a week. While this is accurate, it is also deceiving. This number includes not just happy, committed, couples, but also couples who may be at the opposite end of the spectrum, sleeping in separate bedrooms, sexless, etc. I'd like to know if there is a study out there that actually cross references quantity of sex in relation to the overall happiness of a marriage. Most peoples goals around here are not just to get the sexual frequency up, but also to gain a happy marriage as a result. Now it may be a chicken/egg thing about which comes first, a happy marriage or a happy sex life, but my point is that I'd like to know if there is a study out there that actually factors in the overall happiness of the marriage with the quantity of sex. Additionally, to take it one step further, is there a study out there linking types of sexual activities with the overall happiness of the marriage?
