What do you think of loners?

By loners I mean humans who are very quiet, don't have any friends, and do things alone. I would class myself as a loner. I don't speak much at all, I'm much more of an observing, thinking person. I enjoy my own company, but being alone isn't particularly my choice. I don't have any friends, obviously because people find me very boring due to my quietness. During the day, I pack a bag and go for long walks by myself. I also go to the cinema by myself. I get strange looks sometimes when I do that. :confused: Which puts me off a little. When I'm not on walks I watch films and boxsets. I spend nearly all my time alone. I wish it didn't always have to be like that, but... I've been a "lone wolf" for a few years now. My friends let me down so I just started doing things alone! It was daunting at first because I was shy and embarrassed to be seen out on my own. But it's just second nature to me now, although I take care to avoid times of the day when there'd be lots of people around (school finishing times etc). Sometimes I feel really, really distance from my peers. I lead such a different, lonely life to them. They are caught in their little bubbles of friends, whereas I'm alone. I see the world differently to them. I'm so watchful, I feel like I notice things other people don't. I almost consider myself wiser than them, because I'm so thoughtful and watchful. I've had a different experience of life to them. I don't have anyone to watch my back, I've never had a proper friendship group. I wouldn't say I'm particularly mature, in fact I'm not at all that. I'm just ... a loner. Anyone else like me? Do you think I'm weird?
