Boy troubles

Ok so there's this boy at school, lets call him A. and my friend, lets call her B, was talking to him and asked if he had his eye on anyone, and A said yeah. and B said he said me? apparently he liked me all through last year and is now starting to like me again, but doesn't want to talk to me because he thinks he'll get nervous aw Then yesterday I found out that A had been talking to another of my friends (call her C) and they've had a thing going on for ages, but nothing will happen because my friend is too shy. I really like A and I think that something could happen, but I don't want to hurt C because she's a close friend? A has been talking to me and we had a really cute conversation last night until 2 in the morning, but everyone says he really likes C? What should i do? I think something could happen but I don't want to get in the middle of anything
