| My 12 yo daughter is a level-headed only child that has been taught girls and boys her age make equally desirable and valuable friends. Her bestie is male. Many of her classmates and their idiot parents have the perspective that girls and boys cant be friends so any time spent with a boy automatically is a "boyfriend" and they are dating. It is utterly absurd and ignorant that several of my daughters friends are boys that like to spend time with her yet the parents of girls her age say the most idiotic crap about it and their daughters act ridiculous around boys like they are some kind of alien creatures.
