sleep problem

hey guys, does anyone have the same problem as I do with respect to sleep?

I have a very busy, upbeat lifestyle, and I am both physically and mentally engaged and active. Not that I have many hours allocated to sleeping, but some days, I just really can't fall asleep, despite being tired in the first place.

I normally go to bed at 0000 on weekdays, and wake up at 0600.There are days (like today) when at 2330, I feel really exhausted and expected a really good night of sleep... then bedtime, I started drifting to sleep, to the stage where I'm kind of half asleep, half awake. It's like I'm aware of my thoughts, but I don't have direct control of them. And of course the floating above my body kinda feeling.
Then if by some reason I wake up, then it's gonna be really hard for me to go back to sleep.
It doesn't help that I live in a communal building, and I am really a light sleeper. Someone out in the hallway sneezing can wake me up from my sleep
