Probably best not to tell girls I'm sofa crashing?

About a year ago I was living with my gf in London and had a fairly stable job in the city. Then within about 2 months of each other I find out my gf was cheating and then I lose my job, so I decide to take some personal time to just get my head straight. My dad, thinking I was set in London, had to sell our family home of 20+ years because of the divorce and moved into 1-bed flat, but offered for me to stay on his sofa for as long as I want essentially. Not ideal, but I was grateful as I really didn't have anywhere else to go. So, it's about 10 months later. I'm still sleeping on the sofa, haven't slept on a bed in ages (probably a bit institutionalised in that regard; bet I would struggle to sleep on a bed now). I have a job I enjoy, but the pay's not really enough to move out (I make about £800 a month). My dad's cool about it, but I probably shouldn't tell girls about this when I next get talking to one, right? They wouldn't like it and would view me with the contempt of a homeless person?
