| Hi guys one of my best friends is about to marry someone from a lower cast and her whole family are against it. They are telling my friend that they will marry her off and then disown her (which is heartbreaking). And that my friend shall never enter her families house ever again nor do they want to see her ever again. (This is so horrible it makes me so upset!! I wonder how she feels) I in some context agree with the cast system (not to offend anyone) because it keeps a culture within a culture but then disagree with it too!! Like my friend is happily in love with this guy from a lower cast and I've met him and he's a really nice guy. But her family don't understand that they want nothing to do with her after the wedding. What are your beliefs about the indian cast system? (THIS POST IS NOT MEANT TO OFFEND!!) | |||
