Barista guy but I'm super shy!

Is this okay for me to post anonymously? I'll give it a go anyway, need advice :(:( I used to work in the centre of my town and visit this coffee shop all the time during my breaks, a) because they do the best coffee and b) i got on really well with all the workers (male and female alike). One of the guys was soooo friendly every time I went in, and he's super cute: he asked me where I worked, we chatted at the till, always kept eye contact with me and was so smiley, and then every time I went back (literally every time) he'd give me staff discount on my coffee (you get this in the centre anyway but he always remembered! Adorable :)) Naturally I got super attracted to him, but then I had to leave my job because of commitments and hadn't been back for like a month until the other day when I was shopping. He was making the coffees so I didn't get to talk to him (sad :() but he ended up messing mine up, so it took longer than usual; the thing is though, I overheard him having a conversation with one of the other guys and the other guy was saying stuff like, 'Is that her?' and 'I'll go over!' and 'You only live once!'. But I didn't want to say anything, I'm really bad at asking people for their numbers (nevermind his NAME! I only do that when I'm severely intoxicated haha) and now I have MISSED A HUGE OPPORTUNITY! Am I just being too hopeful? I really don't know what to do!!!! And I don't want to say anything incase a really nice thing is messed up :( Hellllppppppp
