W and ex from many years back, ex has moved into our owned property which we rent out to him. We don't live there so no ongoing conflict. I did not know he was an ex, she always stated him as being "transport" when she was younger - 15 year old.
W spends time on her phone, on IM and email. Gets home and spends 1/2 hour in the driveway on the phone (IM, not talking). Finally checked the phone which is locked down normally tighter than a duck arse. Found messages from her to him but was unable to read them before she took the phone back (obviously not asleep) and has since deleted them.
Got a copy of the mails (don't ask how) and found that she has detailed in great depth that whilst she was dating him, how she was raped by 3 guys. He replies all defensive, wanting to kill them, but I am now lost. This is a shocking to me, she told me it had happened but not in detail like the email.
Why did she not tell me. She indicates why she may be defensive of the kids (check my other posts, it could explain it) in the mail.
I told her last night that I am seeing a therapist, and now I have to discuss this, without letting her know how I got the emails. She has not spoken to me since I let her know I am at a therapist, going on and on about how I should have let her in on it, MCs always see both partners, etc, etc, etc.
I'm dealing with the revelation to her ex, who she says is not an ex, about something so f#%^ing sensitive that I cannot believe she did it. But I cannot say anything, and cannot discuss how I found out. Will talk to my therapist on Friday, but how the hell can I cope with that until then?
