Does true love exist anymore? Did it exist?

Hello all,

I can write a story about this topic but this time I want to keep it minimalistic. Just few things I want to mention:

- Status and money

- See the divorce to marriage ratio (until we die?):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divorce_demography

- Biggest turn off in a guy/girl?
Very interesting that nobody said that the biggest turn off would be that he/she would not love you.
Your parents could be ugly or they could have bad charasteric traits. Fine. But if you knew that they don't love you, that would be the biggest turn off, right? But how about relationships...? All people look for other things like love does not mean anything from what I see.

- How many people did u have sexual intercourse with ?
Is that what you understand by "making love"?
Just asking.

- What is true love?
As I said I want to keep it minimalistic so just see this poem what that is.

Quote:

Annabel Lee

It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of ANNABEL LEE;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.

I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea;
But we loved with a love that was more than love-
I and my Annabel Lee;
With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven
Coveted her and me.

And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
So that her highborn kinsman came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.

The angels, not half so happy in heaven,
Went envying her and me-
Yes!- that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.

But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we-
Of many far wiser than we-
And neither the angels in heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea,
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee.

For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling- my darling- my life and my bride,
In the sepulchre there by the sea,
In her tomb by the sounding sea.

- My thoughts?

I think it does not matter because I want to see your opinions.
As I have already made my thoughts and think it still does exist but "practised" by a few people. That means of course everyone of you will tell that they "belong" to that small group but I can tell you that this is not true. It is like doing all bad things, taking drugs, killing people, stealing, swearing and so on and calling himself a good Christian or Muslim or whatever. That's like that. Everybody claims this in general but nobody sacrifices his soul. Always pretending but in true just wanting a good life. It is not necessary to have a true love to have a good life it seems.
