I've been with my boyfriend three years, he's a bit older than me and I'm in my penultimate year of university.
Over the past couple of months (but never when I'm around), his family started asking about how he sees our relationship developing, whether he sees me as marriage material and then last weekend, his parents basically ganged up on him and were trying to convince him to marry me.
They are the loveliest people in the world and they're not trying to be nosy or bossy; they genuinely want what's best for him and for me.
The problem is that he is starting to feel stressed out about it and is rebelling against the whole idea of marriage. I would happily spend the rest of my life with him and wouldn't mind getting married in 4+ years, but certainly not before I graduate.
How do I get his (incredibly sweet, lovely) family to back off and stop stressing him out?
