I am 18 and first year of uni. I have never had a girlfriend and am not very confident and quite awkward with girls. I can just see myself feeling VERY awkward and the whole thing being very embarrasing. I would like to get a girlfriend but am just not sure whether I am ready. However I don't see how I could overcome these problems easily without throwing myself in the deep end. I just really don't know what i am thinking.:S
