How to get to know her more?

So there was this girl that I met while playing sport at school. I didn't actually speak to her but I saw the day after that she added my two other friends that were playing with us on fb. I encouraged them to strike up a convo but they're pretty useless with that kind of stuff, so I just added her and started talking. It went ok, was fairly brief but I got the sense that it went quite well, although I was definitely 'leading' the conversation. Was thinking that I might talk to her at school if I got the chance the next day, but I didn't see her apart from briefly in the corridor, where I swear I saw her out of the corner of my eye, and as soon as she saw me she turned her head away. I'd like to get to know her, but don't want to come off as a pushy creep or anything. I know TSR isn't the best place for social advice but it'd be better than anything I could come up with :P Any opinions would be great. TY :)
