Sorry... my third thread today... but reading the replies in the thread by past30.... people telling her to try and talk to her husband... made me think of my own situation.
Like I already said in other threads my husband can be inequolent / inexpressive.
When I start a conversation about a topic he gives short answers such as "You are right", "Thank you" and so on.
When I compliment him... may be by saying how much I like how hard he works for me and our son and how impressed I am with his career, he says "Thank you" but typically does not compliment me back.
When I ask him for an opinion he is somewhat startled, sometimes he has an opinion, sometimes he does not have one.
+ I noticed that during an argument he asks "Okay. Can I say something now?" like he thinks he is supposed to shut up while I talk.
Is that normal for a man? I know that they have poorer verbal skills than women.
