I'm 17 (nearly 18), and I'm talking to this guy who's 24 who does the same college course as me. We're planning on meeting up, just to get to know each other better because we don't see each other much in college. First question is, is that age gap too big? Like I know age is just a number and whatever, but I've never spoken to someone that much older in that way. Second question is, I'm a typical teenage girl and I say stuff like "omg" and all that rubbish quite a lot, it's a bit immature and annoying in a way, and I'm just wondering, would that be quite offputting to an older person? Because he's quite mature from what I've seen and heard.
This might seem ridiculous to some people that I'm even asking, but I'm really bad at talking to guys, let alone guys who are a few years older!
