I moved in to this lovely flat one month into the first semester. Everyone was really friendly to me at the beginning and I tried my best to get to know them. However, unfortunately, my social anxiety disorder took over and I stopped speaking to them, or anyone shortly after moving in. This may sound too odd to be true, but I never left my room except to get food.
Now, it's three weeks into the second semester, and I am wondering if it would be odd to start speaking to my flatmates again. Never even went out with them on their birthdays when the entire block went out. How do I even break the ice? I've been the recluse, the weird, ghost of a flatmate for almost 2 months now!!
They're a really tight knit group who are the friendliest, loveliest people I've met in uni. Would really love to get to know them again. Just don't know how to start :( Or should I just not bother altogether since the second semester is ending soon... and I probably won't be seeing them again in our second year anyway :(
Please help!
