I always assumed that if a guy talked about us ex a lot in a positive light then, yeah, they were still in love with them.
I was seeing a guy some time last year and honestly, the amount he moaned and bitched about how terrible his ex was and all the things she did, you'd think she was evil incarnate. Lo and behold a few months later he is back with her.
So basically, I've realised if someone is truly over their ex they won't mention them often... In either a positive or negative way. Just because someone says their ex was the worst person on the planet, it doesn't mean that's how they actually feel.. They're probably just trying to kid themselves.
So yeah. If you're on a date with a guy and he starts talking about his ex... Run!
