Hello studentroom universe,
Today my boyfriend of just over a year left to go on a 7 month Gap Year exploring India, Asia and Africa. Our relationship is strong we have chosen to stay together to the surprise of many, and I know being apart will be hard but also being reunited after such a long time may be difficult too.
On realising the emotional hardships ahead, I wanted to reach out and see if anyone else was going through a similar experience in the hope of creating a support network or if anyone who has already gone through this might impart advice and support.
