| Do you believe, in your opinion, that love can exist before marriage? By this I do not necessarily mean love within a romantic relationship, I just mean feelings of love in general. Or, do you believe that love can only exist after you are married? The reason I ask this is because I have been in a situation in the past where a Muslim man I went to mosque with decided to leave said class because (and this is what he told me) he was convinced he felt things for me which he shouldn't. He also said he'd spoken to someone about it who had told him categorically what he was feeling was the work of Shaytaan and not genuine feelings of love. What is your opinion on this?
