Am I being stupid or reasonable?

I've always been the type of person who didn't want a relationship, I'm now 20 and starting to think otherwise. I met this guy who we both have mutual friends and that's how we met. He works away from home Monday-Friday and as I'm currently a student I usually worked on weekends so we just saw each other when we could for coffee and things like that! He was always the one who was interested but the past few days he's been taking hours and hours and hours to text me and we haven't spoken on the phone for days. I'm usually not the needy type or anything but it's making me wonder whether he's got bored of it since it hasn't been very exciting so far, both of our faults really. The last time we spoke properly he mentioned coming to stay with me in uni which shows interest but I still don't know what to think! I like him but at the same time I'm not the kind of person who would be walked all over and I always stand up for myself. Am I being completely stupid? Or do you think I have reason to be concerned?
