Think my ex could of cheated, or had something with this girl while with me :(

Basically My ex bf broke up with me the first week of February(4-5 months ago). Right after the break, i kind of knew something odd was up, because he started spending time with this girl every night, and he was spending time with her while with me too, but he said they was 'friends' when they went out in afternoons with other 'friends' too. They are in the same class, so of course their be with each other during the day. At first i didn't want to think much of it after the break, as wanted to move on, but un-till those two was just together alone all the time and that one of his friends(who was mine) would text me asking me how i am, and then post photos of them holding hands or hugging on fb. kind of got me thinking. After time-(1-2 month after the break) my ex was still speaking and we was meeting every now and then to catch up(which now i wish i didn't),but he would tell me to my face 3 times that He isn't with anyone, because he doesnt want anyone else, as if he cant keep me while at uni and find it all hard, how can he get someone else..(Utter bullsh*t).As i knew deep down he was lying. 2 weeks ago, the person who was my friend, text me asking me questions like 'how are you getting on with your feelings' - 'do you still like your ex' and others stuff.. and all i was asking back was why am i being asked this sort of stuff. I was then texted that my Ex boyfriend is seeing someone else.(this girl i've been talking about). I was of course shocked to be told by someone else and to actually have the truth finally out, but i've also come to question if he was with her while with me? Because his friend has been tagging him in photos of those two kissing and some photos have been from February time, which wasn't posted then for a reason, but is being posted now. And it involves my ex kissing this girl ONLY 1 and a half weeks after breaking up with me! So i've come to think - Maybe he broke up with me to go with her? A rebound? or maybe he cheated on me with her and felt bad and broke up? Also their fb relationship stauts is 'complicated' instead of 'relationship'. (but i've now deleted them all from fb).
