She acts hot and cold, or is this purely me overthinking/oblivious to her feelings?

So yeah, been getting hot and cold signals from this girl through texts and it's starting to annoy me, but I'm refraining from showing it her in case it's a test. I sent her a text saying "Just made you check your phone for no reason.. seems I've got you where I want", her reply was "I think you've got this a little confused - you've text me, out the blue, to get me where you want me.. When in fact I think it looks like I've got you exactly where I want you x", and the conversation carried on from there. She asked me about checking to see if I was on her mind, but I hinted at wanting to be more than that, but it came out wrong and conversation went like this: Quote: GIRL - What? You don't want to stay in my mind? Alright then, up to you ME - No, that isn't what I meant GIRL - Then what did you mean? That's how it sounds ME - Don't want to just be on your mind. Rather you be here fixing me up after that five mile walk I did last night HER - Nobody forced you to do that. So how does that deserve my company? HER - I don't mean that, that was nasty. I asked why, etc and she said "I was being a bitch but I didn't mean it. Its nice that you want to be with me :)" and things were flirty again. Two days after, she started off the conversation at 1:30am with "I bet I can guess what you do & how you think, alright so, you just picked up your phone, saw my name, read this text, ....aaaand now you're thinking about me, and now you're smiling, because I got it right ;) morning x" I carried on the conversation that afternoon: Quote: ME - Certainly got me smiling, but you know imitation's a form of flattery.. trying to tell me something? HER - Nope, nothing to confess ME - Well, I do have a very particular set of mind reading skills.. HER - Not that good apparently ME - Going to watch a film, text you later Anyway, to the most recent conversation, I start a new one 3 days later saying that I've witnessed new neighbours next door due to last weeks antics (story linked to a joke last week where she suggested I run around the garden naked to wake me up) Quote: HER - If that's the case, mine will probably be off shortly due to what I'm up to currently.. ME - I thought my naked laps around the garden would scare this lot off too. turns out I'm now living next to nudists and they enjoy that sort of thing.. It also explains the missing fences HER - Hahahaha! I'm nudey in my paddling pool :) hehehehee So then I finish off the story saying to "watch out for an angry mob of nudists looking for half their furniture because I'm using it for a fence". She replies: Quote: HER - I don't get it hahaha ME - In other words, I need a new fence to stop the perving from next door. Are you still nudey in that kiddies paddling pool of yours? HER -What... Whilst the suns gone? Oh yeah ME - Ha, anyway I'm off. Early start I'm not sure why she is acting hot and cold, especially that last part.. Or is it all in my head? Her last reply seemed cold and she seems to be doing this randomly in conversations.
