| (I posted this in general but I'm new so I'm not sure where I should have posted it? :scratchhead:) Hi all! I am brand new to TAM and am so looking forward to everything about this website. Currently, I am at the beginning of a wonderful relationship and want it to STAY that way. I am a woman who has recently started seeing a guy that I am wonderfully attracted and blown away by. I have had many previous relationships, all of which I, for the most part, became bored with and moved on. At the beginning of all other relationships I have had the happy bubbly "we're going to be together for so long" stuff, all of which of course was laughable at the end. However, this is the first guy that I have been so interested in that I'm concerned about the future and health of our relationship. Mind you, there is nothing wrong, I just want to learn how to make it as sustainable and healthy for as long as humanly possible. Having come out of a long and rocky relationship prior to me, he has invested himself into self-education and learning quite a bit about relationships, which he has shared with me. Stuff like sex rank, and keeping a woman interested and the nice-guy syndrome and how to not become a door-mat to a woman. I feel as though he has some insights into how he would like to make our relationship continuously interesting. This probably sounds like newbie boring stuff that you all know about already and/or I sound like such a fool. However, I want to be with this man and so I was wondering, as a woman, how can I too prepare myself to keep him interested, to keep us happy and maintain longevity of being interested in one another? How do I keep this man happy and interested? Good books, websites, youtube videos, research papers, advice from long-time lovers or broken-hearted retrospects? I'd love to absorb as much information as possible to make this relationship as healthy as it needs to be to go the distance Thank you SO much in advance! | |||
