husband says polygraphs are not reliable

I have asked husband t take a poly to prove that he is not having an affair with co worker but he says they are unreliable and no better than a coin toss.He has shown me articles that back up this.

He says you can not determine the fate of a marriage based on a coin toss or faulty electronics.

Anyone have any positive experiences with polygraphs?
