I've been with my girlfriend for a few months now and it's been going great apart from a bit of a long distance between us.
I don't really think age is a big issue in relationships, but I think that the fact that my girlfriend is quite a bit older might be bothering me a little. I'm 22, and my girlfriend is just turning 27..
Now I realise 5 years age difference is not much of a problem, especially as we're pretty much equally mature and get on very well, plus she's hot and looks a lot younger than she is.
When we started our relationship, I didn't first think it would turn into anything more serious, but it did..
27 doesn't even sound old to me, but what about when I'm 25? She'll be 32 already.. that sounds quite a bit older. While it doesn't matter, its just bothering me a little in case we plan to make longer term plans for our relationship.
I'm also worried that in case we plan to stay together long term, she will want to have kids and I'm not ready for that in a long time. I personally think a good age to have kids would be 35 or over, but once I'm that old she might be too old for it.
Put the internet to work for you.
