I work with a guy with a live-in girlfriend. I am also taken. When we first met there was no immediate attraction, but chemistry grew over time. At one point I felt things felt a bit too flirtatious and one way I find we remedy this feeling is to talk about our other halfs as often as possible. It really diffuses things a lot. But not all the time...
Anyway the thing is that I know there is an attraction between us but most of the time it doesn't bother me because I know he loves his girlfriend and would never make a move and vice versa. But he gets so nervous sometimes that it makes me feel uneasy. As in if I'm sitting a few meters from him he'll struggle to keep still. If I so much as move a little in my seat he'll start shifting around, fixing his hair and adjusting his clothing, kicking his feet on the floor etc. This gets my heart rate going and then I can't concentrate either! I work in quite a small office as well and am often worried other people notice!
Is it not a bit over the top for him to be acting like this? Why would a guy who obviously adores his other half get so worked up?
